Infrastructure Technician Intern Role

This technical internship is focused on supporting Mawingu's installation and repair operations, specifically targeting Small to Medium Enterprises (SME) and Enterprise clients. The intern will be responsible for managing installation orders, coordinating with various stakeholders, commissioning equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Support SME/Enterprise installations and repairs.
• Manage installation orders to meet revenue goals.
• Provide timely feedback and reports on installation progress.
• Liaise between clients, contractors, and design teams.
• Commission and test equipment post-installation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational policies.
• Be available for emergency technical support.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, IT, or a related technical field.
• Experience: At least 6 months of ISP field installation experience.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Attributes: Must be customer-focused with solid technical and organizational abilities.
