Job Description
Role Overview
The Information Communication Technology Officer will ensure that the Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (CRVWWDA) leverages Information Technology to deliver its mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Analyzing, designing, testing, and implementing ICT applications.
Providing advanced user support.
Maintaining and supporting ICT systems.
Training end users in ICT systems.
Repairing and maintaining ICT equipment.
Receiving, installing, certifying, and configuring ICT equipment.
Maintaining and updating the Website and portals.
Configuring and maintaining local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
Updating and maintaining ICT equipment inventory.
Preparing ICT technical specifications, user manuals, and documentation.
Escalating any faults for further action.
Requirements and Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Bachelor of Science degree in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Technology, Informatics, Computer Science & Technology, Information Systems, Informatics and Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Security and Forensics, Business Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
