This HR Officer (Agriculture) role, based in Bomet, focuses on executing comprehensive Human Resources functions for the company, managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. The role requires ensuring all HR practices adhere to labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
- Coordinate employee integration programs and maintain accurate records of all recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Administer disciplinary processes, conduct investigations, prepare reports, and support timely resolution of employee relations issues.
- Assist in interpreting and implementing Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and ensure all HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
- Support the payroll process by verifying employee data, monitoring attendance, and ensuring adherence to clock-in/clock-out procedures.
- Coordinate employee training programs, assist in developing training materials, and maintain up-to-date training records.
- Maintain comprehensive employee files and HR databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and proper documentation.
- Prepare HR reports, support HR analytics, and participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
