The HealthCare Assistant Tutor role at DOAN College involves professional instruction and mentorship for students enrolled in Healthcare Assistance programs. The primary goal is to ensure students acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the profession while maintaining adherence to regulatory standards established by bodies like the Nursing Council of Kenya.

Qualifications & Skills

Candidates must possess the following qualifications and demonstrate proficiency in the associated skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Community Health, or Healthcare Assistance.
• Higher Diploma in Medical Education or a related field (an added advantage).
• Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) or other recognized health regulatory bodies.
• Skilled in curriculum delivery, lesson planning, and classroom management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent Research and Critical thinking skills.
• Time management skills and attention to detail.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of professional experience is required.
