Position Summary: Graphic Design Coordinator
This role is responsible for designing and producing various marketing materials aimed at reflecting the Marriott brand's image and style in order to drive hotel revenue. These materials include, but are not limited to, advertisements, collateral, signage, flash pieces, electronic brochures, and presentations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and Production: Design and produce a range of marketing materials ensuring they reflect the brand’s image and style.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing managers and related operational departments as part of a project team, providing necessary design and conceptualization solutions pertaining to deliverables.
- Brand Awareness: Maintain familiarity with customer demographics and develop an appropriate look and feel for all promotion and event related collateral.
- Project Management: Monitor the progress of all projects, including the maintenance of project files and archives. Provide continuous communication to the Marketing and/or project team regarding ongoing project status updates.
- Production Execution: Execute various aspects of production, including printing, scanning, digital retouching, image editing, special effects, file manipulation, and layout.
- Company Policies and Professionalism: Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Guest Service: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Communication and Teamwork: Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Quality Assurance & Other Duties: Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Degree from an accredited university or college in Graphic Design or equivalent (BA/BSc/HND).
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of Graphic Design experience.
