This role is for a motivated Field Sales Representative tasked with promoting and selling a range of quality construction materials. The representative will be key in building strong relationships with contractors and construction professionals while consistently achieving sales targets within their designated territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and develop new customers in the construction sectors.
- Conduct site visits to contractors, builders, and construction companies.
- Present and demonstrate the construction products.
- Provide technical advice and product recommendations to clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales quotations and proposals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain and grow professional relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct market research and provide feedback on customer needs and competitor activities.
- Process orders and coordinate with the warehouse for timely delivery.
- Attend site meetings and project discussions with clients.
- Provide after-sales support and address customer concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of roofing systems or general construction materials is a significant advantage.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Attributes: Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently, customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills, willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory, and the ability to understand technical product specifications.
