Role Purpose
This role focuses on promoting Syngenta's Vegetable Seeds offer in key areas and locations according to the sales promotion plan agreed upon with the manager. Key activities include conducting demonstrations, trainings, and field days.
- To promote the Syngenta Vegetable seeds offer in specified key areas and locations, according to the sales promotion plan agreed with the manager.
- To carry out vegetable seeds demonstrations, trainings and field days and liaise/involve with Mazao Club Members and incorporate specific product promotional campaigns to optimize sales in the area.
- To achieve agreed demos and Trials targets.
- To achieve stockist sales targets according to the area sales plans.

Accountabilities (Responsibilities)
- To implement agreed demonstration plans / promotion plans within the specified timeframe.
- To operate effectively without supervision and within agreed expenditure budgets.
- To keep abreast of market trends, pricing and competition activities, feeding back regular information to line Manager as changes arise.
- To be technically competent and provide accurate and appropriate recommendations in an ethical manner, in order that the growers achieve best return on investment from using a Syngenta product.
- To provide the grower and stockist with advice on the benefits, and correct positioning of Syngenta products to achieve maximum benefit for all stakeholders.
- Ensure key information about growers, stockists (e.g., names, address, email, crops grown, products used etc) is collated regularly and provided to line Manager for SFDC (Salesforce).
- To give regular feedback on progress and success or otherwise of demonstrations/trials of products penetration and propose any changes that suit the promotion environment at any one period.
- To defend and promote the image of the company including representing the company in a professional and competent manner.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Critical Knowledge & Requirements
- An Agricultural or business related Degree/diploma accompanied with over 2 years hands-on experience.
- Be a local resident fully conversant with the agriculture trends in the area.
- Must be a good mobilizer able to convene farmers and farmer groups for trainings and field days.
- Knowledge of how to set up demonstrations to extract the unique Selling Points (USPs) of our products.
