Skills & Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements and possess the specified skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or TESOL/TEFL. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Certification: A TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certification is highly desirable.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language at the college, university, or high school level. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
- Expertise & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of second language acquisition theories and practical application in teaching.
- Experience teaching academic writing, communication skills, and exam preparation (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge exams).
