This role is for an Electrician working within the Mwingi Municipality, under the County Government of Kitui. The successful candidate will be appointed on a Contract basis. The primary objective is to maintain and repair public electrical infrastructure, particularly focusing on street lights and high mast flood lights, thereby ensuring continuous lighting to support prolonged business hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Electrician include:
Maintenance of street lights and high mast flood lights.
Support prolonged business hours through continuous lighting maintenance, ensuring systems are functional and reliable.
Requirements for Appointment
Candidates must satisfy the following mandatory requirements:
Be a Kenyan Citizen.
Be at least 18 years old.
Possess a National Identification Card.
Hold a Primary School Certificate and KCSE qualification.
Possess an Electrical Artisan Grade 2 certification.
Must be of sound mind.
Must be physically and medically fit for the role.
Have at least five (5) years of relevant experience.
