The role involves operationalising implementation science frameworks within a multi-country health systems evaluation, ensuring methodological coherence across adoption, implementation, and maintenance domains. The successful candidate will lead quantitative development, refine implementation indices, and design process evaluations to link implementation strength and fidelity to health system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operationalise implementation science frameworks within a multi-country health systems evaluation.
Design, specify, and maintain indicator sets and measurement plans for implementation strength, including formal definition and validation of facility-level components.
Lead the quantitative development and refinement of implementation indices.
Design and conduct quantitative process evaluations linking implementation strength and fidelity to coverage and system performance.
Oversee the execution, scoring, and analytic integration of Health Facility Readiness Assessments (HFRA).
Coordinate and analyse Quality Improvement (QI) event logs, audits, and commodity/stock tracking data.
Contribute to the development of reproducible analytic pipelines (script-based workflows) for data cleaning and model estimation.
Generate high-frequency implementation performance dashboards and quantitative learning products.
Lead the synthesis of quantitative findings into learning briefs, technical reports, and peer-reviewed manuscripts.
Engage with implementation partners and national stakeholders to contextualise findings and inform adoption analyses.
Requirements
PhD (or near completion) in Implementation Science, Health Systems, or Global Health.
