Role Overview
The E-commerce S&CM Manager CEWA plays a critical role in enabling e-commerce sales teams to achieve their objectives while optimizing brand visibility and traffic across the online landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- E-Commerce Sales & Enablement: Enable the e-commerce sales teams to achieve their objectives and optimize the visibility and traffic to our brands across the online landscape.
- Standards & Content: Define local standards for perfect store online, ensuring optimal e-retail content is deployed on time in collaboration with local brand teams and global e-commerce teams.
- Brand Strategy & Selling Concepts: Translate national brand plans into e-commerce tailored conceptual sells to enable sales managers to secure strong support plans with e-retailers.
- Media & Promotional Activation: Own retailer.com media planning and activation, as well as e-commerce specific promotions and pack developments, working collaboratively with local brand, media, in-house agency, and product supply teams.
- Agency & Relationship Management: Direct the in-house digital agency for development of retailer.com campaigns, ensuring optimal ROI of investments.
- 4P Alignment: Articulate key needs of e-commerce in terms of 4Ps back to the broader business unit organization and serve as primary liaison between local brand teams and local e-commerce sales teams.
- Merchandising & PDP Management: Develop and coordinate merchandise selection for eCom accounts (pure player & multichannel). Implement full product Detail Page (PDP) management, develop A+ content, SEO-based PDPs, Brand/Theme Stores, and visibility banners to maximize conversion and average order size.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking: Track online sales fundamentals, analyze product placement on retailer webshops, and generate online shopper behavior understanding to optimize purchase paths. Report local e-commerce results and KPIs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: BComm Degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Shopper Customer roles, preferably in the Health & Beauty (FMCG) industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of eCom best practices, digital marketing trends, brand websites, email marketing, CRM, and web analytics. Online merchandising experience using advanced inventory control and merchandising applications is strongly preferred.
- Competencies: Very good analytical and strategic thinking skills, strong negotiation skills, cross-functional collaboration abilities, and excellent presentation/communication skills.
