This role involves supporting the day-to-day execution of the company’s E-Commerce Operations, specifically providing process guidance for Picking, Marshalling, and Dispatching activities. When required, the role holder will actively plug in and support general operational tasks.
Role Profile (Key Responsibilities)
- Support the day-to-day e-commerce fulfillment operations.
- Support process definition for picking, dispatch, and last mile teams to ensure all activities are performed effectively and seamlessly.
- Support 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) delivery service providers.
- Monitor production Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), such as the picking rate, and work towards continuously improving it.
- Understand, evaluate, and problem-solve for logistics, operations, and other system process hurdles.
- Ensure accuracy of delivery quantities with implementation of Quality Control (QC) audits as per defined controls by loss prevention.
- Ensure adequate actions are taken to maintain the cold chain of goods inside the operation and proper segregation of goods in delivery crates.
- Anticipate capacity requirements (materials, assets, human resources) and plan fulfillment activities accordingly.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce or Business Administration.
- 2 – 5 years of professional work experience working in E-Commerce and Fulfilment operations is mandatory.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Commercial knowledge is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of automated distribution and warehouse systems preferred.
