Role Overview
The Driver (Electronics & Home Appliances) is responsible for the safe and professional delivery of appliances and goods to customer locations, ensuring adherence to schedules and accurate instructions. The role involves key logistics coordination, vehicle maintenance, and thorough documentation. This position is vital for supporting the movement of stock and ensuring excellent customer handling during deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Customer Handling
- Deliver appliances and goods to customer locations safely and professionally.
- Provide courteous communication and assist customers during offloading.
- Ensure all deliveries follow accurate instructions, locations, and schedules.
Logistics Coordination & Branch Movements
- Transport items between branches, workshops, suppliers, and technicians.
- Support movement of stock, repair items, and spare parts as assigned.
- Coordinate tasks with the Manager and Store personnel.
Vehicle Safety & Basic Maintenance
- Conduct daily checks for tyres, brakes, lights, fuel, and cleanliness.
- Report mechanical issues immediately for timely repair.
- Maintain vehicle safety, hygiene, and organization at all times.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain delivery logs, mileage records, customer signatures, and route sheets.
- Submit daily movement reports to the Manager.
- Ensure accuracy in documenting completed and pending deliveries.
Operational Support
- Assist during loading and offloading to minimize damages.
- Support urgent or unscheduled delivery requests.
- Carry out office errands and operational duties when required.

Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must possess the following:
- A BA/BSc/HND qualification (or equivalent educational background).
- Valid BCE driving license.
- Excellent knowledge of Nairobi routes and traffic patterns.
- Ability to use a smartphone for GPS, communication, and delivery coordination.
- Minimum 2 years’ driving experience, ideally in deliveries or logistics.
- Good communication, reliability, and customer service skills.
