Disability Mainstreaming Intern

This is an internship position focused on supporting the Technical University of Mombasa's efforts in Disability Mainstreaming. The role involves contributing to the university's mission of fostering an inclusive environment and ensuring accessibility, aligning with TUM's commitment to being a university of global excellence in advancing Knowledge, Science, and Technology.

Terms and Conditions of Internship

• Duration: Six (6) months.
• Stipend: A monthly stipend of KES 20,000 is provided for Diploma Holders.
• Logistics: The intern must find their own residential accommodation and transport.
• Confidentiality: Must be willing to sign a confidential agreement before being admitted to the University.
• Insurance: Will be required to have a personal accident insurance cover and Medical Insurance Cover by NHIF.
• Conduct: Must have a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate Status: Must be an unemployed Kenyan Graduate from a Tertiary Institute.
• Education: Must possess a KCSE certificate and a Diploma qualification.
• Recent Graduate: Applicant should have completed their Diploma not more than three (3) years prior to the date of the advertisement.
• Foreign Qualifications: Candidates with foreign Academic Qualifications MUST submit a Certificate of Recognition from the Commission for University Education (CUE).
