The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various platforms to drive business goals, track performance, and maintain consistent brand messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Strategy
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive digital marketing strategies across social media, search engines, email, and other digital platforms.
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance and audience engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing campaigns with business goals.
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) with engaging content.
- Plan content calendars, schedule posts, and run targeted campaigns.
- Engage with followers, respond to queries, and maintain consistent brand messaging.
Website Development & Optimization
- Oversee website design, updates, and maintenance to ensure usability, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
- Optimize website content and structure for SEO to increase organic traffic and search engine rankings.
- Implement analytics tools to track user behavior, conversions, and engagement metrics.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
- Monitor website ranking, traffic, and SEO performance; suggest improvements.
- Stay updated on Google algorithms and industry SEO best practices.
Content Marketing
- Develop compelling brand stories and marketing content for digital channels.
- Create blog posts, videos, infographics, and case studies to engage and inform audiences.
- Showcase previous marketing campaigns and achievements to build credibility and authority.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate regular reports on digital marketing performance, social media analytics, SEO metrics, and website traffic.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelors or Diploma in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in digital marketing, social media management, or web marketing.
- Proven experience in website development and SEO optimization.
- Strong portfolio showcasing prior marketing campaigns and storytelling skills.
