Role Overview

The DHC8 First Officer role at FLY ALS involves serving as the Second-in-Command, assisting the Captain in the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the DHC8 aircraft. This position requires a professional pilot dedicated to maintaining the highest safety standards and operational readiness, including flexibility for deployments outside Kenya.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Qualified applicants must meet the following mandatory criteria:

• Possession of a BA/BSc/HND qualification (general academic requirement).
• Minimum of 1,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 250 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).
• Minimum of 100 hours specifically on the DHC8 aircraft type (must be current on type).
• Possession of a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Possession of a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.
• Must be willing to operate at outstation bases located outside of Kenya.
