Decorative Retail Sales Associate - Eldoret (One Year Apprenticeship)

This role is for a Decorative Retail Sales Associate based in Eldoret, structured as a one-year apprenticeship (Contract). The position focuses on driving sales growth and increasing market share for Jotun's high-quality Decorative products within Eldoret, Kisumu, and their surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities (What You'll Be Doing):

• Identify new business opportunities in Eldoret and Kisumu (and their environs) to drive sales growth and boost our market share.
• Promote our high-quality Decorative products, services, and solutions to new customers through site visits, presentations, and follow-ups.
• Ensure prompt and professional response to product inquiries using the guided Jotun tools and best practices.
• Conduct market surveys to identify unique opportunities, gather competitive insights, and prepare captivating proposals and presentations to the team.
• Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure smooth product and service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction to build strong, long-term relationships.

Qualifications and Requirements (What We Are Looking For):

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any of these fields is essential: Commerce, Business Administration, or Construction Management.
• Experience: Up to 1 year experience in field sales, especially in the construction industry, is an added advantage.
• Skills & Attributes: Must be a strong, confident communicator with enthusiasm to build relationships. Must be proactive, self-motivated, and eager to sell premium products.
• Location & Authorization: Must be currently residing in Eldoret and legally authorized to work in Kenya.
