This is a position for a Decorative Retail Sales Associate on a one-year contract, based in Mombasa. The role is crucial for driving sales growth and boosting market share for Jotun's high-quality decorative products, services, and solutions within Mombasa and its surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities in Mombasa and its environs to drive sales growth and boost our market share.
- Promote our high-quality Decorative products, services and solutions to new customers through site visits, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Ensure prompt and professional response to product inquiries using the guided Jotun tools and best practices.
- Conduct market surveys to identify unique opportunities, gather competitive insights and prepare captivating proposals and presentations to the team.
- Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure smooth product and service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction to build strong, long-term relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in any of these fields is required: Commerce, Business Administration, or Construction Management.
- Up to 1 year of experience in field sales, especially within the construction industry, is an added advantage.
- Must be a strong, confident communicator with enthusiasm to build relationships.
- Must be proactive, self-motivated, and eager to sell premium products.
- Must be currently residing in Mombasa and legally authorized to work in Kenya.
