The role of the Day Watchman within the County Government of Kitui, specifically for the Agriculture & Fisheries sector, is to ensure the security, safety, and protection of premises, assets, and equipment during the day. This is a contract position.
Duties and Responsibilities
Guard premises, assets, and equipment.
Ensure offices and storage facilities are locked and secure.
Control entry/exit of persons and vehicles.
Maintain a daily security occurrence book.
Report suspicious activities or incidents promptly.
Requirements for Appointment
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Be a Kenyan Citizen.
Be at least 18 years old.
Be in possession of a National Identification Card.
Minimum of Primary School Certificate.
Physically fit and alert.
Of good conduct and integrity.
Previous security work experience is preferred.
