Job Description
The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK) is seeking qualified individuals to work as Data Collection Enumerators in Meru. The successful candidates will be responsible for gathering high-quality field data as part of a research study under the PO Strengthening Project.
Key Responsibilities
Attend all training sessions scheduled in the second week of June 2026.
Administer surveys and conduct face-to-face field interviews in the study area.
Record and input data accurately using a personal mobile smartphone or tablet.
Ensure data completeness and daily submission to the project supervisor.
Engage professionally with local community members and respondents.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cooperative Business, Community Development, Disaster Risk Management, Sustainable Development, or related disciplines from The Co-operative University of Kenya.
Must be a resident of Meru county.
Must possess a functioning smartphone or tablet.
Must be fluent in the dominant local language spoken in Meru.
Must be available for the entire training and data collection period.
Prior experience serving as a field enumerator is an added advantage.
