Avery Dennison is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their team. The primary objective of this role is to manage customer relationships, ensure efficient order processing, and support sales efforts within a B2B environment. The successful candidate will act as a vital link between customers and the internal production, dispatch, and finance departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Targets
Compile an order intake report and submit it to the CSR Manager on a daily basis.
Promote and sell slow-moving and warehouse stock to customers, contributing to team sales objectives.
Customer Centricity
Liaise with the operations and dispatch staff to ensure that customer requirements are met.
Resolve product/service queries by clarifying customer complaints and logging them on salesforce.com on a daily basis.
Update customer price lists when price changes occur.
Ensure that internal staff have all relevant information for timely invoicing.
Manage incoming calls and ensure that all customer demands are met.
Direct customer queries to the relevant party.
Check inventory on hand daily based on customer forecasts.
Conduct a Managing Daily Initiative (MDI) on a weekly basis with dispatch, production, receiving, and sales staff to address problem areas.
Recommend potential products and services to customers.
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
Order Processing
Load customer orders on the MFGpro system to create sales orders.
Create job cards based on sales orders.
Ensure all orders are accurately created and timeously distributed to the production department.
Request time frames from the Production Supervisor regarding urgent orders.
Communicate time frames to the Dispatch Supervisor to ensure delivery occurs within allocated deadlines.
Liaise with the Finance department regarding customers on hold or whose accounts are suspended.
Provide customers feedback regarding urgent orders and materials that are out of stock.
General
Participate in and assist with stock takes as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
Sound telephonic and customer liaison skills.

High attention to detail.
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant Qualification (BA/BSc/HND).
At least 3-5 years of experience within a B2B (Business-to-Business) environment.
