The position of Coxswain (Job Ref: EXT/KMF/TEMP/16) at the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI) involves the vital tasks of operating and overseeing small support boats used in aquatic research and operations, along with managing seamen and ensuring adherence to regulatory duties. Person Specifications: Qualifications and Experience
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a mean grade D+ (Plus) or its equivalent.
Coxswain certificate of competency or any other relevant equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
Proven experience of at least three (3) years in piloting small boats.
