Requirements for Appointment

To be appointed to this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Citizenship: Must be a Kenyan Citizen.
• Education:
  • Possess a relevant Bachelor's Degree from a recognized Institution in Kenya.
  • A Master's Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
• Experience: Have at least ten (10) years of experience in the relevant field, at least five (5) of which must be in a Senior or Managerial position in a large organization.
• Strategic Understanding: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of County Development objectives and Kenya Vision 2030.
• Core Skills & Attributes:
  • Must be a strategic thinker and result-oriented.
  • Have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have the capacity to work under pressure to meet strict timelines.
  • Have the ability to work in a multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
  • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the National Values and Principles of governance as outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
• IT Literacy: Be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and at least one technical package relevant to the field of operation.
• Certification: All copies of certificates attached to the applications must be certified by the issuing institution.
