This role, the Corporate Health Sales Executive, focuses primarily on the growth and management of the medical insurance business portfolio to meet set annual premium targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth: Secure new medical insurance business accounts directly or through intermediaries across all business channels.
Customer Service: Maintain excellent standards of customer service for both intermediaries and clients.
Account Management: Service existing business accounts effectively.
Renewals: Diligently follow up on renewals for medical insurance business.
Documentation: Forward proposal forms and all Know Your Customer (KYC) documents promptly to the underwriting department.
Premium Collection: Ensure timely collections of premiums in strict adherence to the company's credit control policy.
Reporting: Prepare weekly sales and performance reports as required by the Business Development Manager (BDM) Corporate Health.
Underwriting: Undertake initial underwriting in accordance with set guidelines to ensure sound acceptance of risk.
Enquiries: Respond effectively to customer and client enquiries.
Compliance: Adhere to the terms of the approved Delegated Authority Matrix.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications Required
Education: A Bachelors’ degree in Actuarial science or a Business related field.
Professional Qualifications: Professional qualification in Insurance (ACII, IIK), or progressive work towards the completion of an Insurance qualification.
Experience: 2–4 years’ relevant experience required within the insurance industry.
