Content Development - Engineering and Applied Technology

The Open University of Kenya (OUK) aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students.

This position is for a Content Developer / Lecturer in Engineering and Applied Technology. The successful candidate will be pivotal in creating comprehensive educational material and delivering instruction through online and distance learning modes.

Requirements for Content Developers / Lecturers

Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:

• An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR
• A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at university level and registration in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
