Compliance Officer - Fleet & Transport

Key Responsibilities

• Fleet Compliance Management: Oversee and ensure full operational compliance across the entire fleet.
• NTSA Compliance: Ensure all vehicles and drivers comply with National Transport and Safety Authority requirements.
• KPA & Port Compliance: Manage compliance procedures related to Kenya Ports Authority operations.
• Customs & KRA Compliance: Ensure adherence to Kenya Revenue Authority customs laws and regulations.
• Speed Governor Compliance: Monitor speed governor installation, certification, and ongoing compliance.
• Accident & KeNHA Compliance: Manage compliance related to Kenya National Highways Authority regulations and handle legal/regulatory aspects of fleet accidents.
• Incident Management: Oversee fleet and transport incident compliance workflows.
• Driver Compliance & Training: Monitor driver certifications and organize relevant compliance training.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain complete transport compliance records and produce accurate compliance reports.
• General Responsibilities: Perform additional transport and fleet compliance duties as assigned.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Kenyan transport regulations.
• Excellent understanding of NTSA, KPA, KRA, KeNHA, and Traffic Act requirements.
• Fleet documentation and compliance management.
• Excellent planning and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Report writing and documentation management.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines simultaneously.
