This opportunity is a sponsored training program offered by New KPCU PLC, aimed at developing Coffee Extension Champions to provide essential services to coffee farmers in Bomet County. Successful trainees will gain a foundation for establishing a self-employment career post-training.
This role involves Sponsored Training with a clear path to Self-Employment Opportunity Post-Training.
Upon successful completion of the training, Extension Champions will be expected to:
Extension Champions will establish a reasonable service fee structure, agreed upon at the ward level through cooperatives or farmer groups and formally approved by the Standing County Technical Committee. Champions are required to work closely with cooperatives to ensure transparent and accountable collection of service fees, typically facilitated through cooperative deductions or mobile money payments. Champions are strongly encouraged to enter into formal service agreements with the cooperatives or farmer groups they serve.
