Job Description
The Nakuru County Government is looking to fill five (5) vacancies for the position of Clerical Officer. This role involves performing various administrative and office support duties to ensure the efficient operation of county government functions.
Responsibilities
Compiling statistical records for various departments.
Sorting, filing, and dispatching official letters and correspondence.
Maintaining an efficient and organized filing system for easy retrieval of documents.
Processing human resource-related documentation, including appointments, promotions, disciplinary actions, and transfers.
Computing financial or statistical records based on routine or specialized information sources.
Preparing payment vouchers to facilitate financial transactions.
Compiling data and drafting simple letters for internal and external communication.
Requirements
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of C- (Minus) or its approved equivalent.
Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications.
