Zuri Health is seeking a Chief Security Officer to develop and execute the overall security strategy and policies across the organization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing physical security and information protection programs, assessing and mitigating security risks, managing incident responses, and safeguarding Zuri Health's assets, staff, and intellectual property.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Zuri’s overall security strategy and policies
Lead physical security and information protection programs
Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across the organization
Oversee incident response, investigations, and crisis management activities
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry security standards
Protect the physical safety and wellbeing of all staff, executives, and visitors
Control and monitor access to Zuri Health premises
Safeguard Zuri Health assets, equipment, and intellectual property
Establish clear protocols for medical and wellness outreach events
Ensure robust home-based security support for staff welfare
Provide elevated protection for the Chief Executive Officer
Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and security testing
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field
10+ years of experience in security management and leadership roles
Strong knowledge of risk management, and compliance standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Proven ability to respond effectively during crisis and security incidents
