The role of the Charging Station Attendant (CSA) is critical for delivering seamless customer service to Ampersand's moto rider customers at the charging station level. We are seeking customer-centric individuals dedicated to effortlessly contributing to Kenya's rapidly expanding charging stations network. As a CSA, your primary function is to perform battery swaps efficiently and professionally, ensuring the organization maintains a positive customer reputation.
Responsibilities
Operational Understanding
Perform battery swaps for moto drivers at the charging station level.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of all activities within the Charging Station.
Monitor tools and equipment, ensuring optimization, efficiency, and regular maintenance.
Maintain a customer-centric orientation by ensuring accelerated swap service to avoid long waits for customers (moto drivers).
Communication and Reporting
Provide daily reports on station operations (equipment count, functionality, damages, facility issues, energy meter readings).
Offer updates and other useful information necessary for moto drivers.
Advise moto drivers on critical safety concerns regarding their motorbikes.
Professionalism
Report to work on time.
Always carry the official work uniforms and use personal protective equipment.
Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the station space.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
At least a high school certificate (KCSE).
Proficient in using smartphones to handle online platforms.
Strong commitment and ability to perform physical activities.
Flexibility to work day and/or night shifts.
Flexibility to work at any charging station allocated.
A technical certificate from a TVET school is an added advantage.
