Chairperson, Audit Committee

The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) of Kenya is an Independent government Commission established under the Constitution of Kenya to ensure the smooth functioning of the National Police Service of Kenya.

This appointment is for the Chairperson of the Audit Committee.

Role Overview

The position requires a highly qualified individual to provide strategic oversight and guidance to the Audit Committee's functions. The focus areas include audit, financial management, accounting, and institutional risk management within the Commission.

Requirements for Appointment

To be appointed as the Chairperson of the Audit Committee, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a degree from a recognized university.
• Have knowledge and experience of not less than 7 years in Audit and/or Financial Management/Accounting.
• Be a member of a professional body and be in good standing.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Risk Management.
• Must be a person of integrity and in compliance with requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
