Frank Management Consult Ltd is an international management consulting agency focused on raising the performance, driving the strategies, and enhancing the productivity of major companies. The Business Development Representative role is essential for driving initial sales growth by qualifying marketing leads, actively reaching out to key industry specifiers (such as architects, surveyors, and engineers) in the manufacturing or building materials sectors, presenting the company's offerings, and establishing foundational relationships that lead to successful sales opportunities for the Account Executives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns as viable sales opportunities.
- Contact potential specifiers through various channels including visits, calls, and emails.
- Present our company and its services effectively to potential clients (architects, surveyors, engineer etc.).
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
- Build and maintain long-term trusting relationships with specifiers.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account executives.
- Report to the Business Development Manager on sales results (weekly, monthly, or quarterly).
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Education: Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field (BA/BSc/HND).
- Experience: At least 4 years of proven work experience specifically as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role. Experience gained within the manufacturing or building materials sectors is required.
- Sales Expertise: Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques.
- Performance: A demonstrable track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Excel, particularly for analyzing spreadsheets and charts.
- Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Presentation Skills: Proven ability to deliver engaging presentations.
