This role, Business Development Executive/Booklist Associate, is based in Nairobi and is essential for driving the sales of books, securing orders, and cultivating strong relationships primarily within the educational sector and associated non-school markets (like NGOs).
Key Responsibilities
Visit schools and non-school markets (especially NGOs) to promote books, boost sales, secure orders, and build lasting relationships.
Execute sales and marketing plans effectively to achieve growth targets.
Ensure timely payments through diligent debt collection efforts.
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Gather market feedback and share product updates with relevant parties.
Submit timely and accurate daily reports on activities and performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Education, Sales, or Marketing.
Experience: Experience in the education sector is a plus.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge: Good regional knowledge and proven networking ability.
Advantage: Teaching or publishing experience is an added advantage.
