Business Development Executive/Booklist Associate

The Role

This position as a Business Development Executive/Booklist Associate is based in Kisumu and is crucial for driving sales and market penetration for Centropen Stationers Limited's products, particularly books, within the assigned region. The role involves direct engagement with schools and non-school markets, such as NGOs, to secure orders and build lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit schools and non-school markets (especially NGOs) to promote books, boost sales, secure orders, and build strong relationships.
• Execute effective sales and marketing plans tailored for regional growth.
• Ensure timely payments through diligent debt collection efforts.
• Maintain strong and productive stakeholder relationships across the target market.
• Gather market feedback and share relevant product updates with customers.
• Submit timely and accurate daily reports documenting activities and results.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Education, Sales, or Marketing.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge: Good regional knowledge and strong networking ability.
• Experience (Advantages):
  • Teaching or publishing experience is considered a significant added advantage.
  • Experience in the education sector is a plus.
