Role Overview: Business Development Executive/Booklist Associate
This Full-Time position is based in Bungoma. The role involves driving sales, promoting books, and securing orders primarily within the education sector (schools) and non-school markets like NGOs. The successful candidate will be vital in executing market growth plans, managing client relationships, and ensuring timely financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Visit schools and non-school markets, especially NGOs, to promote books, boost sales, secure orders, and build lasting relationships.
Execute sales and marketing plans effectively to achieve business growth.
Ensure timely payments through proactive debt collection.
Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Gather market feedback and share relevant product updates with the team.
Submit timely and accurate daily reports on activities and performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Education, Sales, or Marketing.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge: Must possess good regional knowledge and networking ability in the assigned area.
Experience (Advantageous): Teaching or publishing experience is an added advantage. Experience in the education sector is a plus.
