Business Development Executive
This role is crucial for driving the growth of the company's lending products, focusing heavily on client acquisition, sales target achievement, and maintaining robust client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Acquisition:
- Identify, engage, and onboard new clients for the company’s lending products.
- Market and promote logbook loans, asset finance, and related financial products.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business.
- Conduct client needs assessments and recommend suitable loan products.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the loan application and onboarding process.
Market Research & Fieldwork:
- Conduct field visits, market mapping, and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Gather customer insights and share feedback with management to improve products and processes.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, applications, and sales activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Adhere to internal credit policies, compliance guidelines, and ethical sales practices.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience in microfinance, credit, insurance, or similar sectors is an added advantage.
- Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate strong self-drive, confidence, and ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment.
- Maintain a high level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage field activities effectively.
