Business Development Executive

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, targeting, and building new relationships with existing clients and prospects, primarily within the insurance and financial services sector. This role requires developing strategic sales and marketing plans and ensuring the achievement of monthly and annual targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and build new relationships with existing clients and prospects to generate revenue growth.
• Develop a credible pipeline of prospective clients and growth strategies that allow for the achievement of monthly and annual targets.
• Clearly articulate value propositions to clients and prospects.
• Create targeted sales and marketing plans.
• Take part in the development of various product distribution channels.
• Maintain a calendar for marketing campaigns.
• Foster relationships to protect existing books of business.
• Provide weekly and monthly production reports.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Required

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field.
• Professional Certification: Diploma in Insurance (AIIK) or ACII.
• Experience: 4 years of relevant experience with demonstrated success in a similar position, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Sales Proficiency: Experience in sales with a proven track record of achievement.
