Role Overview: Business Administration Interns
This internship program is fixed for a period of three months, designed to provide valuable professional experience to students focusing on business administration functions within Diageo's Nairobi operations.
Eligibility Requirements for the Internship Program
- Only students in their 3rd or final year can apply for these opportunities. They should plan to continue their education once the internship concludes or be awaiting graduation.
- Candidates who finished their education and have spent over a year (12 months) since leaving school will not qualify for consideration. If you apply, your application will automatically be declined.
- You must be undertaking a bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent in a public or accredited private academic institution.
- You must be on break/holiday from school during the internship period.
Desired Skills and Attributes
A successful intern has a desire to gain professional experience and is exceptionally eager to learn and explore possibilities. Requirements include:
- Strong listening skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to understand instructions and not being afraid to ask questions.
- Excellent knowledge in the use of Microsoft applications.
- Very articulate with fluent English.
- Patient, possessing attention to detail, being a fast learner, and committed.
- Able to understand directions and work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Keen to learn about the markets and also demonstrates a high attention to detail and pride in their work at this initial stage of their career development.
- A dedication to completing the entire 3 months internship program.
Mandatory Requirements (Documentation)
Successful candidates must provide the following documents:
- Letter from your institution indicating you are a student there and/or require internship as part of requirement for course completion.
- Personal Accident insurance cover for the duration of the internship.
- Bank account details.
- Copy of National Identity Card.
- Copy of KRA Pin Certificate.
- NSSF and SHA numbers.
Critical Application Details

This information is needed for us to allocate you to the appropriate department. Failure to provide these details may affect your chances of being selected.
- The internship is for a fixed period of three months without extension.
