This role is for an Automotive Mechanic responsible for conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections, diagnosis, routine maintenance, and complex repairs to ensure the vehicle fleet remains operational and reliable. The successful candidate will be expected to manage repair processes, maintain accurate records, and advise management on logistical needs concerning parts and maintenance schedules.
Responsibilities
- Carry out comprehensive inspections and diagnosis tests.
- Conduct repairs, replacements, and adjustments to mechanical systems (belts, hoses, spark plugs, filters, etc.).
- Perform routine service tasks (oil changes, tire rotations, lubrication, fluid flushes, etc.).
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair complex systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs. Provide detailed reports on equipment conditions and repair status.
- Advise management on spare parts procurement and fleet maintenance schedules.
- Assist in ordering required parts and supplies for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Diploma/Certificate in Automotive Engineering (or related fields like Marketing, as listed in the source).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably in the Auto-motor industry.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
