Auto Electric Mechanic

This role is for an Auto Electric Mechanic tasked with ensuring the operational efficiency of all company equipment, including vehicles, machinery, and tools, through proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and strict adherence to safety protocols. This position requires strong practical experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, particularly within a busy garage environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implement preventative maintenance plans for equipment designated by the Manager.
• Schedule and carry out routine maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and minimize downtime.
• Implement maintenance and repair of all company equipment, including vehicles, machinery, and tools, as assigned by the Manager.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of necessary parts as directed by the Manager.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures for all transport and maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits as directed by the Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma/ Certificate in mechanical and electrical Engineering, Automotive option.
• 3+ years' practical experience in a busy garage.
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance of both commercial and passenger vehicles and forklifts.
• Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
