About the Role
Willow Health Media is a multimedia digital health platform dedicated to delivering accurate, engaging, and impactful health stories. As a niche digital health media house, we aim to inform, educate, and inspire through innovative storytelling and trusted solutions journalism. We are seeking a creative and skilled to edit studio interviews, documentary-style content, podcasts, and digital health stories.
Audio & Video Editor
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Diploma in Film Production, Multimedia, Audio Engineering, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree would be an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in video and audio editing, with a portfolio showcasing work in both studio interviews and documentary-style settings. Podcast editing experience is a must.
Storytelling Ability: Strong sense of narrative flow, with an ability to structure content that captivates and informs.
Technical Precision: Detail-oriented with a strong command of editing tools, ensuring the highest quality in video and audio outputs.
Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to creatively address technical challenges, maintaining quality across different filming environments.
Time Management: Efficiently manage multiple projects, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, comfortable working in a collaborative environment with a cross-functional team.
Flexibility: Flexibility to work beyond regular hours as project timelines require.
Travel: Willingness to occasionally travel to field locations to assist with on-site editing or production support.
