The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering a three-month Attachment Program in Security Management. The Authority is responsible for collecting revenue on behalf of the Government of Kenya and provides this program to give students practical experience and exposure to security operations within a public sector environment.
Job Role and Purpose
The attachment program lasts for three months and is available to students currently enrolled in a recognized university or college. The objective is to provide professional growth opportunities while supporting the Authority's security management functions. Successful candidates will gain hands-on knowledge in security protocols, administration, and oversight within the Authority.
Responsibilities
Assist in daily security operations and monitoring within assigned areas.
Support the management of security records, incident logs, and reporting systems.
Participate in and observe professional security audits and assessments.
Follow and help implement safety and emergency response procedures.
Collaborate with the security team on surveillance tasks and access control.
Perform any other administrative tasks related to security management as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
Be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Should be a continuing 1st degree student (Undergraduate) in their 3rd, 4th, and final year of study OR a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University/College.
Must have a valid introduction letter from the University/College.
Must be available full-time for the three-month duration of the program.
Additional Information
Stipend: A monthly stipend of KShs. 7,000 will be paid (subject to statutory deductions).
Duration: The program is strictly for three months and is not extendable.
Statutory Requirements: If selected, candidates will be required to submit copies of KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, Bank Account details, and proof of a valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover.
