Associate Professor - Cyber Security

This is a senior academic role as an Associate Professor (Grade 14) specializing in Cyber Security. The position requires substantial experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership within a university setting.

Key Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must be holders of an earned PhD degree in the relevant area of specialty (Cyber Security). In addition, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Teaching Experience: Have at least eight (8) years of university teaching experience, three (3) of which must have been served as a full-time Senior Lecturer.
• Publications: Possess at least forty-eight (48) publication points since being appointed Senior Lecturer. Thirty-two (32) of these points must be derived from articles published in refereed scholarly journals.
• Supervision: Have successfully supervised to completion a minimum of five (5) Masters students and one (1) PhD student since being appointed Senior Lecturer.
• Research Grants: Show evidence of successfully securing at least two (2) research grants since being appointed Senior Lecturer.
• Scholarly Engagement: Show evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops.
• University Service: Demonstrate active participation and leadership in university activities.
• Continued Research: Show evidence of continued engagement in research.
