Associate Applications Developer

Responsibilities

• Software Development: Develop and implement in-house software applications by gathering system requirements, designing, and developing the system.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Analyze system issues reported by users and provide effective solutions.
• Documentation: Develop systems documentation for in-house applications currently in use.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) testing for business application modules before deployment.
• User Acceptance: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the business process team.
• Integration: Develop and support system integration interfaces.
• System Maintenance: Work with the infrastructure team and database administrators to ensure that databases and applications are backed up for business continuity.
• Availability: Ensure consistent availability of software applications to users and resolve reported system issues.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Education: University degree in Computer Science or Information Sciences and/or a minimum Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting an internal programming/intranet environment with solid experience in business applications support.
• Programming Skills: At least 2 years of programming experience in .NET, Microsoft .NET technologies, Oracle RDBMS, and SQL Server.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid experience in Microsoft technologies especially as applicable to Web Applications and Mobile applications development.
• Certifications: Professional qualification in Systems Analysis and Design, Microsoft Professional certifications, or Oracle Certifications are desirable.
• Soft Skills: Self-motivated, proactive problem-solver, excellent verbal and written communication, and results-oriented with attention to detail.
• Professionalism: High standards of professional grooming and self-presentation.
