The Assistant Public Health Officer will provide environmental health extension services in the area of deployment. The role involves working closely with communities to promote healthy living environments and ensure public health standards are maintained.\n\n### Responsibilities and Duties\n\n* Mobilizing, sensitizing, and advising communities on matters related to environmental health.\n* Identifying health cases and referring them to relevant health facilities.\n* Carrying out immunization programs within the community.\n* Identifying environmental health issues at the community level and proposing solutions.\n* Organizing community health days to advise communities on common public health issues.\n* Collecting and maintaining up-to-date records of services rendered.\n* Assessing the health needs of the community.\n* Implementing vector, vermin, and rodent control measures, as well as integrated mosquito control strategies.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n\n* Diploma in either environmental health science or public health inspection from a recognized institution.\n* Registration certificate and valid practising licence.\n* Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.\n\n### How to Apply\n\nInterested and qualified candidates are required to complete employment application details from the Mombasa County Public Service Board website: .
