Job Description
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) is seeking a qualified Assistant Physiotherapist I to join their medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing physiotherapy and/or occupational therapy services within the institution. This role requires a professional with significant experience in a busy medical environment and proper regulatory registration.
Responsibilities
Provide physiotherapy and occupational therapy services to patients.
Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Administer rehabilitative exercises and therapeutic treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and monitor progress.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
Adhere to professional standards and regulatory requirements in the field of physiotherapy/occupational therapy.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a Diploma in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) or an equivalent institution.
Have at least five (5) years of working experience as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist in a busy institution.
Must be registered as a Physiotherapist with the relevant regulatory body in Kenya.
