The Assistant Fisheries Officer III plays a key role in supporting fisheries development initiatives. This position involves assisting in the delivery of fisheries extension services, collecting vital statistical data, and ensuring high standards of quality assurance and value addition for fish products within Nyeri County.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting in delivering extension services, including conducting field days and training fishers.
Collecting and compiling fisheries statistical data.
Participating in fish quality assurance activities, marketing, and value addition.
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID).
KCPE and KCSE Certificate (Attach certificates).
A Diploma certificate in either Fisheries Management, Aquatic Sciences, Applied Biology, or Natural Resource Management from a recognized institution.
Relevant experience of two years and above (Attach evidence).
