Job Description
This role involves supporting the Branch Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring the branch adheres strictly to high standards of quality, service, financial management, and hygiene, thereby achieving company objectives. This position requires hands-on management of staff, adherence to operational policies, and proactive problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that all restaurant policies and procedures, standards specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food preparation and serving standards, and maintenance requirements.
Achieve company objectives in sales, service quality, appearance of the facility, and hygiene through effective employee training and by creating a positive, productive working environment, including organizing and supervising branch deep cleaning.
Adhere strictly to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies.
Prevent, handle, and resolve complaints regarding food quality and service efficiently.
Train staff and review financial statements and activity reports, alongside other performance data, to measure productivity and goal achievement, and identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
Sample food and drink items by testing to ensure palatability and flavor conformity through regular store audits.
Prevent and resolve personnel problems.
Administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures at the branch level.
Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety.
Organize Branch H.O.Ds (Heads of Departments) meetings and offer leadership in seeking to develop the team for continuous improvement.
Manage staff shifts to ensure balanced strength across all departments.
Conduct regular performance reviews for your subordinate staff.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a BA/BSc/HND qualification.
