Role Overview: Artisan II (Painter) Grade 3

This position is designated as Artisan II (Painter) Grade 3 and serves as an entry position within this cadre at Pwani University. The appointment shall be on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Council from time to time, subject to age, citizenship, or any other reason stipulated in the Kenyan Labour Laws.

Academic Qualification

• The candidate must have a minimum mean grade of D+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent.
• Must hold a Trade Certificate in a relevant field (such as Painting or a related trade) from a recognised institution.

Experience and Attributes

The candidate must have a minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate proven attributes in the following areas:

• Integrity
• Independence
• Innovativeness
• Compliance to deadlines

Candidates must also have practical experience in the following operational aspects:

• Demonstration of hands-on ability to complete tasks effectively.
• Practicing safe working habits and adherence to safety protocols.
• Submission of accurate and timely reports to the supervisor.
