Accountant - Grade 12

Job Purpose

The Accountant - Grade 12 will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and maintaining the financial integrity of the university.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants for this position must possess the following:

• A Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or its equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution.
• CPA (K) or its equivalent professional certification.
• At least three (3) years of experience at Grade 11 or a comparable level.
• Computer literacy skills in relevant financial and accounting software.
• Professional membership in good standing with a relevant professional body (e.g., ICPAK).

• Strong proficiency in financial management and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
